The Eagles started as a small team in 2004 playing in the Rock Football League of Western New York. Over time, the team has expanded and become not only a powerhouse in the local flag-football scene, but a team of life-long friends.
Playing in house leagues at both Sahlen's Sports Park (as Ramrod, Pancake Syrup, and Gym Class Heroes) and The Epic Center (as All-In, Gym Glass Heroes, and Ramrod), the Eagles have proven to truly be a gifted team and
among the best in the area.
In January of 2008, the Eagles finally be put thier skills to the test as they took on the best in the country at the USFTL National Championships in Orlando, Florida. The tournament marked the first time the Eagles have played out-of-state teams on any level. Though they finished 1-2, they learned a lot of valuable lessons about how the game is played on a National Level!
The Eagles plan to have a big 2008. Our mission is not just about football, but about the community. The Eagles will be contributing their time and effort to a great deal of local charities and organizations in the Greater Buffalo region. Check back often to see what "Eagles Approved" events are coming up and how you can help The Eagles make Buffalo a better place to live.
